Many volunteers, care receivers, and friends of Care Links made my eighteen years with the program take on a whole new meaning on the fifteenth of February. That day there was an awesome retirement reception at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library where I saw my work during those years through the eyes of the others who knew me at that time. All my “friends” and the public servants who came to help in the celebration added to the blessings my job had already given me. Many shared reasons for their appreciation and thanks.

I need to thank everyone for their words, cards and gifts that were given to me on this special day. I am proud to live in our community, thankful for the people who I have met over the years because there are not many who have their character and integrity, To find them all in this Care Links program has been a special gift.
