CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Southern Saratoga County residents will get a chance to have household items repaired for free this Saturday, Feb. 8, at the community’s second Repair Café, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library, 475 Moe Road.
This is the second Repair Café sponsored by the Town of Clifton Park’s G.R.E.E.N. Committee. The most common items brought in for repair are clocks, chairs, small tables, jewelry, digital devices in need of reconfiguration, clothing, and textiles. Dolls, stuffed animals, toys, microwaves, toaster ovens, lamps and vacuum cleaners are other items also seen by Café “coaches”. Those items having gas engines are not allowed.
Registration for repairs suggested. Go to the town’s website: www.cliftonpark.org, click on the virtual Repair Café button found half way down on the right side of the homepage, complete the blank form that pops up and hit “send”.
