BOARD OF EDUCATION - A Meet the Candidates Night will be held 7 P.M. June 15 in the Ballston Spa High School library so area voters can learn more about the two candidates vying for a seat on the district’s Board of Education.
During the recent Ballston Spa CSD Board of Education election there was a tie between two write-in individuals for the third available seat. As a result, a special runoff election between Mrs. Susan Moore and Mr. Wayne Evans Jr. will be held on June 22.
The Meet the Candidates Night is open to the public with those in attendance following all current COVID health and safety guidelines. The evening will also be available to the public for viewing through a Google live stream and via the district’s live Twitter feed.
Questions for the candidates are welcome and may be submitted in advance via BOE@bscsd.org.
Polls for the special runoff election will be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. June 22, in the Ballston Spa High School library (for residents of the towns of Ballston, Milton and Charlton) and the Malta Town Hall (for residents of the Town of Malta). District voters are encouraged to learn more about the two candidates and come to the polls and vote on June 22.
