CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — The Board of Trustees of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library has announced a proposed 2021 budget of $4,756,999 for 2021. The budget and two trustee positions will be voted upon by library tax district residents from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park.
The budget’s total tax levy of $4,606,724 will remain the same as 2020 and is New York State tax cap compliant.
Registered voters, both renters and property owners, living in the library district are eligible to vote. Voters must be registered at least 30 days prior to the vote. Absentee ballot applications were made available beginning Aug. 1. Application forms for those who are unable to vote in-person can be found online and printed at www.cphlibrary.org or picked up at the library.
Residents of Clifton Park only will be given the opportunity to vote on two open trustee positions that represent the town on the library Board of Trustees. The vacancies were created by the expiring terms of two incumbents.
